Hi, I’m a London-based photographer, editor, and journalist who specializes in covering important social and political issues related to race, gender, identity, migration, and displacement caused by climate change and armed conflicts. I am certified in HEFAT (Hostile Environment First Aid Awareness Training) and have experience covering the Arab Spring, including the Civil War in Syria, and the aftermath of the Armenian-Azerbaijani armed conflict in Nagorno Karabakh.

In August-November 2022, I reported on the Russian military aggression in Ukraine. I recently visited Moldova to focus on the impact of Russian territorial expansionist foreign policy on neighbouring countries and spent about four months familiarizing myself with rising tensions in Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Serbia.

As a professional photographer and journalist, my work has been featured in numerous international publications, including The Guardian, The New York Times, TIME Magazine, Der Spiegel and more.

I wire news pictures for several well-known media outlets, including the Associated Press, Anadolu Images, and the Daily Mail Media Group, and my photos have appeared in various CNN, DW, BBC news programs and UK-based newspapers such as The Times, the Sun, Telegraph, and the Sunday Times of London.

I am an accredited press-member with the UK National Union of Journalists (NUJ) and have international certification for news coverage from the International Federation of Journalists through NUJ. I am also a member of the British Press Photo Association (BPPA).
